Format your event notes
Add emphasis to your Activity Event notes - in the moment or later on - by using the formatting options available at the top of the event note editor:
- Bold
- Italic
Strikethrough-
Title text
- “Quotations”
- Bullet points/ numbered lists
You can also use our tools for timestamping and scripting student-teacher conversations, which help better capture notes when you're in the classroom environment.
Timestamp your notes
Activity Event notes have a timestamp feature that can help keep track of interactions, conversations, or thoughts that may take place at a particular moment. Enable this feature by selecting the stopwatch icon above the event notes field.
Each time you hit the ‘Enter’ button, a new line of time-stamped notes will be recorded and displayed on the event’s page.
Record Student/Teacher conversations
Our scripting tool allows you to capture Student/Teacher conversations directly within your Activity Event notes. To turn on scripting, click the speech bubble icon above your event notes.
By default, scripted conversations will begin with the teacher's comment. Once this is complete, beginning a new line will insert a student interaction, and the table will continue alternating in this way. If you need to change the speaker of the current row, you can use the Tab button on your keyboard to do so.
