FAQ: What do the different colored events on my calendar mean?
Your calendar in TeachBoost Coach should reflect your day-to-day coaching activities and these events are color-coded according to the activity event type. Depending on your schedule, there may be three different colors displayed:
Purple
Any events that are purple on your TeachBoost Coach calendar are either ‘Meeting’ or ‘Classroom Visit’ event types. These can be differentiated by clicking on the event card and then identifying the icon on the top left. A clipboard signifies a classroom visit and a briefcase is associated with a meeting.
Orange
Whenever you track time-related to Other Coaching Responsibilities (for example, personal development sessions, time spent preparing, etc.), this event card will be displayed in orange on your in-app calendar.
Note: Purple and orange-colored events that include time spent on the activity will count towards your Time Spent Report and Coaching Focus Report.
Gray-striped
If your Google or Microsoft Calendar has been connected to your TeachBoost Coach account, you'll likely notice new events displaying throughout your TeachBoost Coach Calendar.
These will display as striped-gray events, which will either be automatically imported by TeachBoost Coach or can be manually imported whenever required.
Note: Events that are gray-striped won’t be calculated in your Time Spent Report or Coaching Focus Report and will only count after they have been manually imported.
