Adding tags to your activities is the best way to ensure that reporting accurately represents where coaching time and expertize is being invested. Tagging allows you to categorize your activity, influencing how data is displayed in your Coaching Focus Report and Time Spent Report and strengthening the integrity of your reporting.
The Coaching Focus Report and Time Spent Report can both be filtered by subject and grade tags; deep dive into your coaching to help track impact and set future goals.
Note: If you need to amend a tag at any time, simply open the activity and select an alternative from the drop-down menu.
Pro-tip: Automate tagging by tagging a goal with a focus area and priority when you create it. Any activities created with that goal will then be auto-tagged with both.Subject and grade tags will be automatically applied if a team member has a subject and grade assigned to them.
Maximizing your Coaching Focus Report
Use your Coaching Focus Report to produce a visual demonstration of how coaching work is related to focus areas and school or district priorities.
Activities tagged with a focus area will feed into the How does coaching tie back to focus area? table, allowing you to easily identify the areas you've been working on and indicating the areas you may want to give more focus.
Activities tagged with a priority will feed into the How does coaching tie back to wider initiatives? table, helping you connect the work you’re doing for priorities back to what is happening in coaching.
If coaching activity is not associated with a focus area or priority, it will appear in these tables as None Selected.
