Include Action Steps
Action Steps help you stay organized and can be used for agenda-setting, meeting prep, identifying the steps necessary to achieve a goal, to-do items, etc.
Create an action step for a team member by selecting the "Create an action step" button from the blue Add Activity menu.
Feel free to include optional information, such as the date this action step is due, the amount of time expected to spend on it, or a more detailed description.
If this Action Step is associated with your coachee’s goal, you can directly tag it to their active goal. This data will then be incorporated into your coaching cycle with this team member and reflected in your coaching reports.
If, however, this Action Step is more of a to-do item or task, it can be added and assigned to your coachee completely independent of their goal.
Note: When you create an Action Step and your coachee has an active goal, that goal, and focus area(s) will automatically be tagged. Simply click the blue Goals button & Focus areas buttons and remove those tags, if necessary.
